Could exhaust really rob this much power?

Re: Could exhaust really rob this much power? I've heard both stories regarding the mac cats. I have broken one before because im lowered. But I only put down 318 AFTER the cam, so if it is plugged, its plugged good.
Re: Could exhaust really rob this much power? If the car ran rich, you could have "smoked" on of them. Basically, unburnt fuel + cats is bad for the cats. I'm sure LG will figure it out.

Could exhaust really rob this much power? Some of you might have read my post in internal engine about the results after the G5 and 2800 convertor install. To make a long story short, somethings really wrong with my car as it yeild very small results. (about 12hp to be exact). Next week L.G. is going to do a compression and leak down test. Hopefully my poblem isn't there....hopefully. Next place we think might be my exhaust. its pretty mauled up given i've switched out y-pipes a few times etc. It consists of MAC headers, y-pipe w/ cats through a bullet muffler in the I-pipe (from when I had no cats) through open borla. Even if there is something severly restricting my exhaust, Im having a hard time imagining it robbing that much power. But I really don't know that much about this stuff. But does that seem logical?
