Default Help with Free Fan Switch Mod

Well I did the fan switch mod as stated on LS1.Com under Mods, but then I read the 2cnd part to make the fans both go in series which will make them go faster but I don't understand this part...anyone care to elaborate on where to hook them up and what and where to put "jumper" wire...Thanks! BTW Heres the part

" After completion, take a small piece of "jumper wire" connecting the small green wire of relay #1 and the small blue wire of relay #2 (gray relay right beside #1-it is labeled on the cover). Any wire at least the size of these wires and about 3-4" long will work. Simply shove each end of the jumper wire into the bottom of the wire connections.

I just did my free fan mod Version 1, which is running the switch off from the big blue wire under fan relay #1 and then power and ground. (yes, there are other ways to do this mod). Anyway, if you lift the relay/fuse box up you will see the big blue wire you tapped into for the fan mod, right next to it is a green 14 or 16 gauge green wire(smaller one coming towards the fender from the big blue wire). you tap into that and run the other end about two inches away into the small blue wire (same gauge as relay#1 green wire) from fan relay #2. this will energize them in series and when turned on, they both will run in hi speed. Basically you want to run a 10 or 12 gauge wire for the switch and a 14 gauge wire for the jumper. Too small and it'll over heat it from the current draw.
I am not doing the hi speed mod b/c it seems to fit no real purpose unless you have an emergency. I do race and give my car 20-30 minutes between runs, now when it's cooling off I can run both fans on low to assist for the really humid/hot days. running both on hi will just draw to much current and really IMHO I don't think it'll help that much. I hope I explained this good enough for you, Good Luck.
Charlie.

Thanks for the replies...I understand now. I guess I'll just keep it on low but now my SES light came on For some reason...BTW I did it the same way, ran a wire into the hole where the green is and then through the door and under the dash and under the center console and put the switch in my ashtray...I used 10 guage wire. Thanks for the help.
