looks like u need some 'learnin' down there. we are talking about a 1 chamber muffler...NOT the 80 series which is a 'CROSSFLOW' design and has baffles. The Flows we speak of are basically straight-through.I wish people would learn a bit before bashing FLOWMASTER so much..they have been around for 30 years..if they were not any good, you wouldn't have people like JOHN FORCE,GARY DESHAM, and others using them on TOP FUEL and FUNNY CARS....btw..if u look at graphs of 80 series crossflow's, they are only down 4-6 hp from Magnaflow's of the same type..NOT THE 20 HP some people try to insist on....same as the 'Factory Muffler' ....???? that is incorrect pally. anyone who has heard an LS1 with duals/10 series flows will say they sound better, or they have had the headphones with video games on too damn looooong.

Do you really have any idea of which SERIES Flowmaster mufflers we're talking about??? We're speaking of the 1-chamber 10 SERIES Delta Force "Race Mufflers" that are used with a TRUE DUAL set-up. Ummm, don't worry...They don't "choke" horsepower at all.

It just amazes me to this very day that as soon as someone hear's the word Flowmaster they immediately think "chokemaster"

Please do a little research on this board or subject before you start spouting off bad info

well i don't even care about the "flow" anymore. i'll get the single chambers and take out the rear floor mats to compensate for the hp loss for not goin with bullets. but the single chambers sound like champs.

The bullet will obviously flow better than any other muffler, but I don't think you'd lose more than 2-3 hp with the 1 chambers or ST's.

You posted a sound clip of your car with the One Chamber Flows on your car & that made me loose my Bullets in a HEARTBEAT! I have the One Chambers now & my car sounds better then a 5.0 with a cam.

Also I was running 7.533 in the 1/8 at 91.533 & ran this last weekend & ran the same times with no change in MPH on my traps in the 1/8th.

If you want to hear your cam & have a deep mean sound. GET THE ONE CHAMBER FLOWS,

Mine hit the ground on back country roads because they are dumped. But I don't mind, I get so many compliments on the way my car sounds. But most of all. I love the sound.

ALSO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TRUE DUALS when you go to the ONE CHAMBER'S. I have the 3inh TSP Duals & dumped the Bullet mufflers & now have the Flows in their place.

Exactly. It's now because of jmm98LS1's car that I MUST put a cam into my LS1 like ASAP. Thanks a lot jmm98, you just accelerated my modding plans like two years! And I just bought a brand-new townhome too!

The 3 choices they offer from TSP with the X pipe, are any of those 1 chambers?

No. You'll have to order your own Flowmaster 10 series mufflers through a different vendor (Summit Racing for example) and hook them up to the TSP set-up. Shouldn't take too much modification to get those 1-chambers to fit with descent ground clearance...

Just do it already!!! It'll sound great...promise!! My dumps are angled out ~35 degrees btw.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Sure do--it's an f-body, they come that way from the factory don't they?
Seriously though, the only rattles I have are a few in my center console that I can fix, and when my windows are down they rattle a bit. Windows up, elbow on the armrest, hand on the shifter and head cocked to the left a little.....no rattles.

Could do that.

But if you ran it out so far, you could have problems with the exhaust blackening the body panels, or run into clearance problems w/ subframe connectors.

You'll run into horrific ground clearance problems if you try to do that, even at stock ride height....lowering will be out of the question.

bullets man flow the best unless you compare to a straight piece of pipe. flows sound good but dont flow as well and take up more space under the car.
