Default Bullets to 1 Chamber Flows

I have bullets on my current true dual setup, just wondering which out of these two mufflers will flow and perform better. Would the sound increase significantly if I switched to the flows--as in idle, cruising, and wot? I'm going to make a poll... also might switch to sweet thunders. Please vote and justify you answers please. Thank you in advance.

I've heard both and have the 1 chambers, so guess where my vote went? Bullets are louder, 1 chambers sound better. ST's sound better than bullets too imo, but they have a very distinct tone that some like and others don't. The bullet will obviously flow better than any other muffler, but I don't think you'd lose more than 2-3 hp with the 1 chambers or ST's.

I had single chambers on my car and I loved them! Now that I have a body mount TA I'll have to run a different system.

NOTHING outflows a bullet style muffler. except maybe a straight peice of pipe.
You guys would be surprised at the differences in power. Especially in the HIGH rpms.

He is right, if you are trying to get more performance out of it...you can't beat a bullet style.

bullet = loudest and best flowing, least tone, most noise
single chamber flows and ST's = most tone

they'll all be very loud, just the more restriction, the more of a tone you get. IMO single chambers sound best, but nothing outflows a bullet.

^^^ just listen to his soundclips and you shouldn't decide on anything except the 1 chambers

If you go with the Flowmaster 1-chambers (10 series), do it because you want that classic, old-school tone. They make an LS1 sound like nothing else. Dynomax Bullets and Sweet Thunders don't have as much of a tone to me and are more "noise" than anything. Granted, a dual set-up with either of those mufflers will definitely sound better than almost any Y-pipe/cat-back set-up out there. Anyway, as for flow, the Bullets will outflow the other two choices a little in the high rpms (like the others are saying). But the question is...Are you really even going to notice it, LOL??? Unless you're an all out dragracer who cares about every LAST horsepower possible, run the mufflers that sound the best to you.

ST have no tone, 1 chambers have a killer tone... of the choices presented I'd go 1 chambers, ST just dont do it for me.

when your listening to clips , make sure that the setup your listening to is close to yours , obviously jmm98ls1's car sounds badass with the 1chambers but he also has a cam , just one thing to consider , but hearing his car i might change my bullets to 1chambers in the future .

i like the bullitsfor this reason the growl all day long when driving speed limit like you whoud not belive then. when you go WOT its got that sound of raw LS1 powerhouse. i vote for bullits all the way i whoud stay a way from a chokemaster muffler loose power loose sound 1chambers just dont do it for me i even herd that flowmasters dont flow much better then a factory muffler

I had 1 chamber flows and it sounded like a TRUE muscle car of the 60's. So from these 3 mufflers go with the flows. Are you running dumps, this really makes a difference too, dumps sound way different and Better then pipes out the back. So 1 chamber dumps is the way to go, any other way will be a mistake!
