anybody in houston ? Anybody from Houston who could help a fellow out?Somebody who is familiar with ls1 and all the little knicks and knacks...from pinging to knock retard and somebody to whom I could get in contact with...I would really appreciate it...All my buddies and cousins either have mustangs or ricers..and of course, no challenge....for an ls1!

Re: anybody in houston ? Knock retard isn't to tough. Advance the timing till it starts to 'knock' then retard it a couple degrees. Romp on it loaded and keep retarding till no knock. That was the old way anyways lol all this new puter stuff if ya have ls1 edit i'm sure someone here has what the maximum is before knock begins - judging by some of the posts on the computer board i'm guessing a base of about 25* advance is the norm.
