I had my cut out welded at a muffler shop and I wired the QTECH myself. It is easy to install, and trust me I am no electrical expert.

I think im going to get a Qtec, that shouldnt cost that much to install. If you can have a friend who can weld that would be the best, its not too hard to figure out how to weld one in. Al, are you on GS-C's? I mean after getting a bad start 108mph is nice, but you should be in the 1.9-2.1 range on stock tires.

I would think maybe around 150. As for the QTEC ya can wire it up anytime - just ya can't operate it till then so if its open it'll stay open. The motor won't move till its got batt.

Maybe get your friend to wire it ahead of time and zip-tie the wires underneath - i'm pretty sure it plugs in - so then ya can play with it right after the muffler shop does thier work <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I got my cut out welded in for 25.00 here in Houstom. Barry at QTP told me a NYC price and that I should no pay more than that. (don`t remember what he told me) And yes my 13.52 time was on GS C`s. This was my first and only time to the track. I did only 2 runs. The first run I did not rev my motor and boged off the line. The next run(13.52) I reved my motor and spun my tires and had to get off the throttle. I got the tuning the day befor and even though I have stock internals and no headers I could tell that I still got alot of power out of the tune job

I will make some calls in augusta and see if i can get a good price for you, have you already bought the flowmaster muffler? b/c sitting in my back yard is a stock ta exhaust with a flowmaster muffler welded in place of the stock muffler, we can make a deal on that if you wanna.
