installing pacesetter lts

Default installing pacesetter lts

What all goes into installing Pace Setter LT's and would it be possible for me to do on my own with the proper tools.

Easy as hell. I've done a couple sets now. Just remove the manifolds and cats and slide your new headers in. Its about as easy as it gets.

Its not too hard. Make sure you have the car up way high if its not on a lift, I used a semi truck floor jack to get it way up.

its pretty easy.....just TAKE YOUR TIME!!! to get the passenger side on you will need to get the car as high in the air as possible. And make 100% sure when you are putting the header bolts back in that you aren't crossthreading them. Its easy to do in aluminum heads...believe me..... i damn near messed up! Just take your time and you will do fine. 12pack + few friends = success!

i have the stock maniflolds, and stock cats. im running the slp ypipe, and loud mouth cat back exhuast. im wanting to put long tube headers on the car but still keep the cats on. will it bolt right in, or will i have to cut into the ypipe to fit the cats back on there.

I am getting Pacesetters this summer, Would they bolt straight up to my SLP Catted Y-Pipe if i gut the cats, or will i have to order a new one?

Key word there is 12 pack especially when pulling off the manifolds. Other than that its a very straight forward install. If you can just grind that nub off on the driverside block it will make things ALOT easier. Just be patient and it you will get it. God Luck.
