Torque Convertor...Should I?

Torque Convertor...Should I? Was thinking about my next mod...Would i be benifiting from a TC? Other than my mods, i have a stock LS1 and dont do much racing. An occassional *** whoopin of a mudstain, but thats it.
1. What convertor would i be investing in?
2. What are the pros and cons of torque convertors?

Re: Torque Convertor...Should I? Don't buy anything else. SAVE for a converter.
It will make more of a difference in your car than ANYTHING else.
I would look at a Yank in the 3500 rpm range...
Moving this to the Drivetrain Section.
