Issues with PLUG change

Issues with PLUG change I'd like to extend a BIG THANK-YOU to all those who wrote in here asking "?" and giving advise. Just changed my plugs out, swapped to TR6's for the spray (not enough info on iridiums w/ spray, but at least I thought of it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> ). Total time for plug change, 58 minutes, first time I changed them, warm engine-ouch thats hot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> .
To the engineers at GM- WTF over? how the h*ll did you let some pimple *ssed kid with an engineering degree come up with that for a plug location and engine bay configuration. Do you think when you make the new Z-28's, and you WILL make them, you could move the coil packs, have a different AC routing and possible recess the inner fenders some? Better yet, get one of the experienced mechanics that actually change the #8 plug to help. TIA.
