Headers before `verter??

Headers before `verter?? I`m still a little up in the air on the converter I`m going to use but I have my Hooker LT`s, and I`m bored! So I was wanting to throw the LT`s on now (just the headers, not the y-pipe) but I`m not sure if having them on will make dropping the trans for the converter swap that much harder (clearence wise)? Anyone find it more difficult to drop the trans with their headers installed? Should I wait `till I put the converter in and then do the headers? She`s asleep for the winter so I have plenty of time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
Re: Headers before `verter?? Most headers for our cars provide enough room to remove the tranny without having to pull even the y pipe.
Bang for you buck wise... go with the converter first.

Re: Headers before `verter?? Thanks for the replys. It`s not a matter of if but which one as far as the converter goes. I WILL be installing one before spring I just can`t make up my mind as to which brand/stall I want! I`ve had the headers for a few months now and I`m itching to put them on but didn`t want to screw myself come `verter time.
