Hookers, if you're not looking to sing big money, are the best. Second best Macs. Go with the Hookers though.

random tech. y and cats with hooker lts in a word, no.
hookers have an ory available seperately from hooker as well as mufflex. if you want cats then you have to buy them and put them in the y. if you can go without cats. or get a shell from a cat and put a piece of straight pipe through it the weld in on the pipe so that it looks like a cat. our cars are suppost to be able to meet emission standards without cats in all states except california or so i've been told.

the LT's wont work with the RT ypipe, but you could use the RT cats in a custom Ypipe or the Mufflex Ypipe.

IMO the best bang for the buck is the MACS. I LOVE my Hookers, but for a bolt-on car i'm not convinced they'll gain you anything over the MACs.

i guess i could do shortys(for looks more than anything)and the random tech high flow y with their cats, and a good high flowing catback.that would be the easiest way to go, what gains if any would i get.i just dont want to run into alot of problems later.

simms are used on the rear o2 sensors. These are used only for determining whether the cats are functioning or not. If you don't use them, you'll throw a code... Using them does nothing more than eliminating the code. So no, they will not cause you to run lean/rich.

I put them on my car because I prefer my SES light to be functioning properly so it can notify me of a problem.

the front o2 sensors determine air/fuel ratio. these are located before the cats and are used on any exhaust setup regardless of long tubes or not. the rear o2's determine if the cats are working.

The MACs are available w/ or w/o cats. Are the cats that come with them worth a crap?
