Re: How to seal my lid? Call K&N and get them to send you the gasket that they include with the filter for the LS1 (31-2118, i believe is the number). They sent me one for free.

Re: How to seal my lid? Mine didn't seal too well even with the jippy K@N gasket. Go to Home Depot/Lowes where ever they sell the weather stripping for "in the window A.C units". The stuff comes in several different thicknesses and it has one side that is sticky. Can't rember the thickness I have but it was something like 1/4 inch or so. The stuff is cheap, get a couple of different thickneses and experiment! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I have the MTI clear lid and sealed very well with K&N rubber gasket but I thought it was too thin and I went the safe route and bought some rubber weatherstripping from Home Depot and placed it around ...it fit well and gave the lid a more snug-fitted look and no problems....no sand,no debree!!! try it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Re: How to seal my lid? I'm running FTRA w/factory SLP 345 hp lid on my '02 A4 SS. At the track, I simply run a strip of duct tape around the complete seal area. Then I'm assured of a air-tight seal to gain full benefit of the FTRA. WJ. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
