Default SSRA or FTRA?

I've been reading a lot on the FTRA and SSRA. I would like to get one or the other. Which do people feel is the best overall package to get?

Get the Supersucker. I really felt a SOTP difference and it comes with weatherstripping to seal it off, foam to block it off for the rain. The only downside is you have to be careful not to hit it on a curb. But it's plastic so it takes a beating.

The FTRA would not be a bad choice Put one on my car and the thing is pretty sweet, and it cost less. You will pick up a couple of tenths..

ide say the FTRA. i havent seen any better performance on the SSRA and the FTRA quality is better. the FTRA comes with a block off plate and all. i think the SSRA does now but im not to sure. plus the FTRA is cheaper. youll be happy with both pieces.

I have FTRA, new design (which doesn't result in much radiator blocking), and I wouldn' switched to SSRA. I suppose SSRA could provide marginally better performance, though I doubt it, but I feel I'd leave it right on the first speed bump which I would not be carefull about...
...not to mention some driveways.. and I drive with FTRA in the rain, no problemo, while being that low SSRA is sure to pick up some water. I feel FTRA is perfect for the job, SSRA is just a little bit of exaggeration..

I have FTRA and I love it. I know the SSRA dose not block off as much of the raidatior but I have been told by the guy that did my tunning that he has sceen only a 4 to 5 degree raise in temprature with FTRA. All I can say is my FTRA is great and I wouldn`t get rid of it if someone gave me my money back and gave me a free SSRA. (not to say that SSRA is not a good product, I just don`t have any experiance with one) And don`t worrie about rain, I have drove through some tough storms at 65 mphs here in Houston with cars in front of me splashing up water and still my filter and FTRA show no sighns of water. Last Monday it flooded in Houston and I drove through some "simi" high water and still no problems. Like a dumb @ss I even hit a big pool (lake) of standing water at about 50 mph and stoped and opened my air lid and every thing was fine. Go with FTRA. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I put a Fast Toys Ram Air system on my car last weekend, and it's given me a noticeable difference. I'd recommend it! I'd say you'll want the FTRA due to it's steel construction also.

The Supersucker just came out last summer. FTRA has been out for a few years I think. This is why you'll see lots more in favor of FTRA. Both make a difference. All I can say is that I love my Supersucker, I have yet to hit anything with it.
