cutout wingnuts coming off It is very convenient to be able to reach under the car and remove the wingnuts from the cutout and have open exhaust, but the wingnuts keep vibrating off.
Is there any way to keep them from vibrating off without losing the convenience of easy removal?

Re: cutout wingnuts coming off Have you tried to put some lock washers under the wing nuts? I have a Qtec with lock washers and nuts (that I tightned down with a wrench) and the nuts stay tight.

Re: cutout wingnuts coming off I always tightened up my wingnuts with either the closed end of a small wrench or a small crescent wrench. I never had one vibrate off (of course... my cutout was never capped for more than 100 miles)

Yeah for the wingnuts loosening up just use some washers. The thicker the better. That should take care of the problem.
