Anyway to "trick" the coolant sensor?
Is there anyway to trick the sensor? Like, pulling the wires and just conecting them to eachother and bypassing the sensor? Anything so the light goes out.
Yeah, I know that could be unsafe, but as it stands now, the light is on for no reason, so I just keep an eye on the gauge, so I'll continue to do that with the sensor "tricked" anyway.
Is there anyway?
-thanks.

If you unplug it, the light will not come on. Mine has been unplugged for about a year. Or you can shell out about $40 every 6 months for a new one.

unplug what part?
