Couple of questions!!
2. I notice some stuff for 00+ cars cost more. Like this..
Whisper Induction Lid (regular version) and (WRA) LS1 Cold Air/Ram air Package. Add $15. for 2000-'02 cars. Note: Package does not come with a K+N panel filter.
3. What exactly can you do with LS1 edit?
4. What exactly does s MAFT do and is it necessary if you get a calibrated unit like the SLP 85MM?
2. 00-02 bigger lid assemblies, and stuff like EGR/AIR what-not.
3. A helluva lot, fuel maps, timing, shift points & pressure, turn on/off AIR, EGR, Fans, Cat Overheat Temperture, and more-just a need a scan to tool like atap if you want to tune it worth a ****.
4. MAFT can change the A/F ratio across the RPM band, good for any MAF, stock, ported, polished, descreened and so-called calibrated.
Good-luck
Charlie.
<strong>1. Are stock Z28 lids different than SS lids?

2. The 00-02 Lids are exactly like the 98-99 lids. The difference is the rubber tube (AIR tube) that does not attach to the aftermarket lid. So the aftermarket lids require a small filter to be placed in the AIR tube.
3. LS1edit is for editing the program on your car's cpmputer.
4. The MAFT is a good tool to help trick the computer into leaning or fatting up the fuel curve to "fine" tune a car. But it's not "mandatory". If you have LS1edit.. the MAFT is not needed.
