99 frc ls1 swap to ls6

Default 99 frc ls1 swap to ls6

i have a ls1 intake on my 99 frc, i want to buy ls6 intake. i was wondering if i buy a ls6 intake do i need to buy a newer throttle body as well?

i know i need new coolent lines.


any info on what all is needed or any info or help plz let me know.

Your '99 throttle body will bolt right up to the new LS6 intake. You will reuse everything except the coolant lines.

The new lines will have a crossover in the front and two block-offs for the back.

You should feel the new hp for about 4 test drives, then the new power will be unnoticable. Time for the next upgrade!
