Do Granatelli mafs work?
The Granatelli maf sensor isn't a bad piece and can work fine when properly tuned. I just think it's an unnecessary mod on which a lot of us have wasted money.

I dynoed my car back to back GMAF vs. stock. I gained ZERO rwhp and rwtq. Before the GMAF, my air fuel was 12.7:1...after is was 13.5:1 ... granted my car DIDN'T have time to relearn.

Did the same thing and picked up 8 rwhp. I didn't wideband at that dyno session but I did just recently and I have a perfect 13:1 across the board. I'm a big fan of the GMAF.

When do I need cold air tuning?
Cold air inductions significantly increase airflow and can cause tremendous turbulence in the air intake stream. When using the GMS mass airflow sensor with any type of cold air induction, high flow induction, or high flow air filter, your GMS mass airflow sensor must be calibrated with cold air tuning or a check engine light can occur. Cold air tuning is designated by a "C" as the last digit in the part number. Cold air tuning is also available for existing GMS mass airflow sensor owners - please call 805-486-6644 for details.
I'm running one of these and have better response, more power, and even better fuel mileage. My only complaint is they are just to flippin expensive.
