gutting the cats will i see any gains it i gut my cats? my car is a 1998 z28 and it seems like the cats are really holding my car back.i'm just wondering it this will help any?

Re: gutting the cats Will you see gains? The answer is more than likely "yes" but how much depends from car to car. It is impossible to say for sure that if you take them off that you will gain "X" horsepower. Anytime you take the corks out of the system you are bound to gain some power but just don't expect the SOTP feel like a 150 shot would give you!
If you do it, expect more rasp through the pipes...particularly when you come out of near or full throttle. A couple of bullet mufflers will fix that, though! Good luck!
