The Ultimate Gen III Intake Manifold
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – GM's latest Gen III small block (LS1, LS2, LS6) has proven itself as a major powerhouse, with victories on the street, strip and road course. Now the airflow experts at Wilson Manifolds have applied the same cutting-edge technology they use on custom racing manifolds to design the ultra high-performance Billet Bank Intake for the GM Gen III. This high-tech, high-power manifold will support over 450 cubic inches and 1,000 horsepower when equipped with a Wilson high-flow throttle body and fuel rails.
The Billet Bank Intake uses an F1-style "breadbox" design that houses tuned-length runners. It works with most popular cylinder heads, and produces excellent performance in applications where boost, high RPM operation, or large cubic inches are a factor. It also looks great on street rods and show cars, and is designed to fit under stock hoods. The runners are CNC ported to a mirror shine, and are machined to accept Nitrous Pro-Flow direct port nitrous systems.
The manifold was designed using state-of-the-art solid modeling software, and the cylinder banks are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum on a 5-axis CNC machine. Each manifold is then heli-arc welded for fit and maximum structural integrity. The Billet Bank Intake is like ordering a custom sheet metal racing manifold for your LS1, but without the high price and long wait.
anything that looks like that won't be cheap. billet this, billet that...ha. however, i am curious of its comparison to a fast 90/90 and also if it will clear factory hoods?
ok so it's supposed to fit under stock hoods, but judging by the "description" it's just a billet fast system. it's purdy
