We are talking about Agostino Racing Engines correct? I'd feel a little foolish if you meant the ARE that is American Racing Equiptment.

Re: After market valve covers $300 is a fair price when you consider what these are. These are custom fabricated aluminum sheetmetal valvecovers, for an application in which there will be limited demand for. We're not talking about a cheesy stamped steel chrome valvecover for a SBC here.
As far as oil consumption issues, I don't run a PCV system at all. I just have a header mounted crankcase evac system pulling from a baffled breather in each valvecover. I have zero oil consumption issues.
Here's a pic for anybody wanting to see what the ARE valvecovers look like. They come in a natural aluminum finish, but I painted mine.

Re: After market valve covers For any other tall valve cover for the LS1 that i have seen has run 500 bucks or more. 300 bucks seems like they are giving them away if you look at it like that.
