Is there any differences between the different years' LS1 throttle bodies?

throttle body I haven't seen this one before but I know it had to be asked.Is there any differences between the 99 and earlier throttle bodies vs 00 and later tb's.I have an 01 ss and am curious.Please send to Tom01ss@aol.com thanks
okay, I know this is an old thread, but I had a question about this, and I didn't see the answer for this anywhere else. I know that the throttle bodies are different because they have a different cam that controls the rate of opening, but can they be used interchangeably? Specifically, since the 98-99 is better, can it be directly installed on an 00-02 with no modifications?
Theoretically if you can slip the throttle cable up and over into to cam then yes, otherwise it ain't going to happen. The only things is the opening rate would be off, so the throttle response because of the different cam would be irratic.
