If I am going to spend 450.00 for a pump it better run for a minimum of 3 or 4 years before I have to think about replacing it. But if your only picking up 5 or 8 hp for that amount I wouldnt even bother reading past "GAINS OF UP TO 5-......oh nevermind.
I havealways worried about electric pumps so I would be hesitant to buy in the first place. Something about them I just dont trust.

I was going to buy the race only version, but now I will wait for the real bolt on deal. They advertise 2500 hours, and you can replace the motor if it goes out. For my nondaily driver that is a deal. You can run reverse flow, but I heard it wasn't worth much on the dyno versus typical flow on the race only unit. I believe it was worth about 12-15 horses.
