Anyways, I would be interested if it was reverse cooled.

I would look very hard before jumping. Life span, hp to $, and it has to be a true bolt on. Life span and the HP/$ being the big issues. If I am going to spend 450.00 for a pump it better run for a minimum of 3 or 4 years before I have to think about replacing it. But if your only picking up 5 or 8 hp for that amount I wouldnt even bother reading past "GAINS OF UP TO 5-......oh nevermind.

I havealways worried about electric pumps so I would be hesitant to buy in the first place. Something about them I just dont trust.

I had the front seal go out once in my '00 Z.

I also talked to them about a week ago. They told me it should be coming out late january. I was going to buy the race only version, but now I will wait for the real bolt on deal. They advertise 2500 hours, and you can replace the motor if it goes out. For my nondaily driver that is a deal. You can run reverse flow, but I heard it wasn't worth much on the dyno versus typical flow on the race only unit. I believe it was worth about 12-15 horses.

Heck, I would even do it.. IF it was a true bolt in and retained the heater/t-stat and all.. would be nice if my Katech tensioner bolted to it as well.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

10 - 12 horses is good thing..

If this comes out I will DEFINATELY buy one! I have been looking at the "race" version trying to figure out how I could do the heater and thermostat but this solves it. If a GP comes up....COUNT ME IN!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Like mentioned in other posts; If it was a true bolt-on, had heater/AC provisions and had some type of over ride if case of eletrical failure. I would just hate to give up even a small percent of reliability.

I~m in, I loved it on my LT1... I`d run the pump with the engine off and fans on and ac/heat fan on full blast.. it would cool the car down in 10 min.
This did require a Yellow top Optima however <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I have been waiting for a pump for over a year. I have kept in touch with Meziere on a release date as well.

I don't care who comes out with the unit first, but whoever does will get my order!

I'm in! wonder if the battery in the trunk would be a problem? I wouldn't run it with the car off...

Is this pump carried by SDPC race only or the street version you guys are talking about?

Anyone know if there's a chance the Jay Fisher/Joe Prince EWP will be out before the Meziere unit?

JPR has built several pumps already and is ready to go into full production when this clears up.
