Removable Exhaust - shed that weight.

Removable Exhaust - shed that weight. Well i was looking into weight reduction and thougth of somthing.
Im still on the stock exhaust, but when i make power i open up the cut out. Im just too cheap to by a new muffler or exhaust system. But one problem, the stock exhaust is heavy, and im trying hard to get my weight down resonably. so i talked to my exhasut shop and we figured out somthing.
Im going to have to removable exhasut clamps, welded on which allow me to remove my exhaust right after the down pipe at the cutout. I was thinking about welding some flanges to it so i could just unbolt it, but the shop wanted to do the clamps instead.
So i should be able to shed over 50lbs at raceday, and have the power of free flowing exhasut.
