Re: Descreened MAF or stock MAF Definitely remove the screen. The amount of rwhp you gain is debatable and it varies from car to car due to the air/fuel mixture. The screen is pointless since the air intake is a straight shot into the MAF.

Re: Descreened MAF or stock MAF Remove it! I'ver heard stories about rough idling and other hiccups, but it's like a 1 in 1 million chance that it will happen. I think it's worth it, not to mention the fact that it's a free mod!

Re: Descreened MAF or stock MAF I think it is a pretty prooven mod. But becareful. Make sure your lid seals well and the filter is kept pretty clean. The screen does act as a filter for larger particles, 1 in a million chance, but it was enough for me to replace my filter and get a better sealing lid.

Re: Descreened MAF or stock MAF I just put on Thunderracing MAF ends. Which don't have a screen. I got 10 hp at the rear wheels, with no codes. Car runs great. Much better results than the SLP 85mm I had on before.
