Broke Something During the Intake Removal
Broke Something During the Intake Removal I was removing the EGR and hoses and broke something on the back of the engine. Its black plastic, with a connector, cylindrical in shape and about 2 1/2" tall. Its located on the block after the valley cover off towards the drivers side. Anybody know what it is and how much it is to replace?

Thats good knews that its just the oil pressure sender and easy to replace. I read your how to change the intake at ls1info. Its been a big help.

Re: Broke Something During the Intake Removal Put one on a Vette yesterday, the part cost was $51.00. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Hope you can find it cheaper, this is a dealer price.
