Default Cablebandit or others: how to fix AC so it stops leaking:

Ok we talked before on how you have to tighten the bolts a cetain way for the AC compressor not to leak, Well i had a new one put in after mine was leaking and the one thats in there now is leaking too!
Its leaking iin between the sections were you said yours was. What bolts and how did you tighten it up to get it to stop leaking.

thanks.

Hey Dude! I don't remember the sequence but i did it in 2 stages...i THINk i did the bottom first then the top. it's crazy it should matter but for some reason it did. I would just tighten 2 bolts...say the top and see if it leaks...then tighten the bottom. That is weird but I had that same problem. For months I only had 2 bolts in...the top...did nothing but add the bottom bolts and heard it start leaking...of course i was like WTF....still had that compressor on when it was totaled <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I bet you thought i was nuts till you got a new compressor and it leaked too
