Default GMMG installed!

OMG, it sounds so awesome. It sounds like a REAL car now! So many people complemented me on it in one day. Even Stang owners! Anybody that is considering this exhaust, go for it! I was part of the GP that somebody wa leading over at the f-bodyhideout.com Went for $625 instead of $700. $700 is worth it though! This system sounds so awesome, even with the rest of my car being stock(cats,y pipe, headers). So go buy it!

Congrats Jimmy! I bet it sounds mean as hell! I am really considering the GMMG, but wanna hold off till i get my LTs. So does it sound good with stock manifolds? I always wanted to hear it with LT headers. Anyways, congrats and have fun! Hopefully I will be as happy as you soon!

Yep, the GMMG sounds great on stock manifolds and even better with long tubes. I have stock manifolds now and SLP long tubes waiting to go on soon. It gets loud with long tubes, but it is a really really great sound. Just add a cam and you're in heaven.

I want one so bad, but i just blew 1g on suspension. How does it sound against the loudmouth? The LM i think sounds really raw, and untuned, but i still love it. Any opinions on LM vs GMMG?

Thanks! It sounds awesome with stock manifolds as ClassicCollector said. I heard that it does get louder with LT's but better! As to the LM vs. GMMG. Havn't heard the LM in person but have heard complaints from a lot of people that it has too much rasp. People replacing the resonator with a dynomax muffler or whatever. I ONLY heard good things about the GMMG, no bad complaints or anything. That is one of the reasons I went with the GMMG over the LM. GMMG sounds like a REAL muscle car!

I bought the LM before the Braxxton Chambered cat back came out ,now the GGMG, and actually regretted buying the LM. At first I couldnt stand driving my car on long road trips because of the 2000rpm drone/resonance but after installing the headers it sort of died down. I plan on replacing the Lm but have doen so for a long time so I doubt I'll get around to it anytime soon.

I've never heard of anyone modifying or removing their GGMG but have heard/read of many people not being completely happy with the LM so IMO that says a lot.

Having both setups in our club (LT's w/ a LM & LT's w/ a GMMG) I would have to say there is no comparison!!! The GMMG with LT's blows the LM out of the water!!! LT's w/ LM = *** juice!

I've had the GMMG for at least 8 months so far. I had it first with the stock manifolds and cats now I have it with LT headers and high flow cats. I drove my car 2 days with LT's and no cats with my GMMG and it was way too loud for my taste. Had the highflow cats welded in to the y-pipe and it sounds awesome. IMHO, the cats brought back the original sound of the GMMG.

Like Blue Meanie said, polish that sucker before you put it on then keep it wiped down on a regular basis. People are gonna be sticking their heads under there to see what you have

DARKHALF: I'm glad you said that. I was going to get rid of my cats whenever I got LT's and a y-pipe. I'll probably just get the highflow cats now.

What y-pipe and LT's should I get with the GMMG? I won't be getting them next. I want to get the SLP air lid and a K&N filter or either a holley filter(any diff.?). I just want to go ahead and know what I need/want before it's time to buy it. Any suggestions?

Jimmy, glad ya like it bro. I packaged it as best I could so it would arrive in one piece.

BTW, I have SLP LTs, 3" ORY and the GMMG, sounds incredible, still cleaner than a LM with cats if you ask me.

Cammin BeaSSt: What do you mean you packaged it for me? You work at GMMG? It did have a lot of newspaper in with the tips!

Does anybody have a sound clip of GMMG with LTs or anything?

Hey Guys,
I'm still waiting for mine .... But by looking at a guy's picture of his GMMG (under the car), it looked like the air is forced into a tiny opening then into a bigger and so on. Isn't this a bit restrictive ? Just wondering

I dont think there is a more free flowing exhaust out there. Once you get yours you will see what I mean. Pictures can manipulate the actual view.

Jimmy, yes I do. As for the newspaper, we like to make sure you get what you paid for, and get it undamaged

Thanks Cammin BeaST ....
Seems like my exhaust is still in Georgia since last week so I'll just have to wait it out

Fierce, bare with us. UPS will only take 3 to 4 systems per pick up. The box is quite large. Also we have had a heck of a time getting clamps and tips in stock. Good things come to those who wait. Thanx again for understanding and enjoy the new rumble of your LS1

I wouldnt part with mine for a million bucks.... I work at GMMG and I package and ship most of the systems that go out. Why the concern?
