Hey Cammin,
Mikey at Rapid did my entire SS: H/C/I,clutch, 12 bolt, exhaust, everything... I have Grott headers that Mikey timmed my slipfit collectors and flanged them for me. He then removed my random tech cats and have bypass pipes that are flanged too. Then flanged my Grott y-pipe. I love my set-up. I also have a SLP LM exhaust, and I may be interested in a GMMG but I don't want to add a lot of weight. Weight savings was the reason for choosing the LM in the first place. How much of a weight different is between the LM and GMMG?

Shipping weight on the GMMG is 50 lbs.It's really not like the sound of any other cat back, loud, very deep, throaty rumble but no rasp, drone or vibration.Even people who hate loud exhaust can't help smiling when they hear it, even if they find it too loud to ride in.

camminbeastSS-oh definately no concern, just anxiety to pul some money together to get this exhaust......i was at the f-body nationals in bowling green and saw some berger's there running the Gmmmg exhaust.....OMG!!!!....every since then i have wanted that exhaust, it is incredible....i can definately vouch for that....i am working on having a set of headers and y-pipe installed as i type this, then i have decided to stop all other spending, and save up for the GMMG.....there is no other exhaust out there that compares to this exhaust.....i definately hit you up when it is time to order my exhaust....maybe you guys will have a deal or something going

GMMG chambered is sweet. Had to have one. First and only mod done to my SS so far. Plus Matt Murphy at GMMG is such an awesome guy.

If your the dude who packed my GMMG then you need to lay off the crack pipe! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> The box had numerous holes and tears and the pipes inside were sticking out of the damn box! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Be very clear with the folks at GMMG regarding your cat-back exhaust purchase. They(GMMG) are not very organized. It's a great exhaust and I'm happy I bought it but the bulls--t I went through was terrible. BEFORE you send a cashiers check, DEMAND in writing and email the EXACT PRICE and when you can expect it. VERIFY the exhaust will be packed good with foam, cushions, etc, and the right tips were ordered. WRITE in your letter and tell GMMG verbally if they(GMMG) make a mistake in your order or shipping(damage), GMMG will pay for the return shipping charges and COMPENSATE YOU for your personal time in dealing with their mistake! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

PUT IT IN WRITING AND MAKE COPIES OF EVERYTHING!

SEND IT CERIFIED MAIL RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED!

I like my LM but with an A4 your constantly at that drone RPM and sometimes i put it in 2nd gear just to get over that, it didnt bother me at first but its kinds gettin to me now, i just feel like saving up for a $700 exhaust system when ive already changed once would be better spent on other mods, but id definately like to get a GMMG one day <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Here is a sound clip of GMMG's 435hp version of the Blackbird. I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong, it has a very mild cam, maybe heads, LT headers, and high flow cats. OH yeah make sure the volume is turned up, plus your bass.

I had both the LM & GMMG on my last LS1. Hands down, the GMMG sounds WAY better than the LM. The GMMG has a clean, deep, and refined tone to it while the LM sounds like a major A$$ to me(really, its just a straight-pipe set-up). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Not to mention the GMMG does NOT have the annoying drone of the LM. This lead me to re-install the GMMG on my new LS1. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> My only complaint is how quiet at idle it is(but thats nothing a big cam can't change). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
