Default FAST Intake Gains

This question as prolly been asked 1000x's, but what kind of gains are people seein when upgradin to the fast intake manifold, i would also be goin up to a 90mm tb

Over the LS6 with ported tb, prolly 10 or so, with heads, maybe 15

You would deffinatly see higher gains then I did becasue you have heads and a M6 but I got 19hp and 27ft lbs but I was also going from a LS1 intake.

so it looks like i could spend 1100 bucks on somethin else for the nominal gains i would recieve?

the fast intake is best for bigger cubes.

totally agree but I can see spending around 500 for an ls6 and a ported TB when I know I wll have to get an LSX later down the road for a direct port set-up or when I do an engine swap.

yea, but the fast just doesn't give you the power up top, it increases the whole range of power, which is a good investment, have it ported to your heads, and make a lil more power. If you are staying N/A, its a must man.

i still have the ls1 intake. can get a new fast intake for 700.00. should i do it. my mechanic said i will def gain 20 hp. looking 2 get some gears as well. with my set up, i think that should be plenty for me. famous last words

It's all about the performance guys LSX are the top of the notch out there so if you're planning to get an aggressive H/C combo & stay all the way N/A the LSX definitely your ROUTE

You'll also need to drop $400 plus on a new throttle body, keep that in mind.

this winter im doin prc stage 1 heads and a trex cam 24x/24x .61x lifts on both end, so you guys would recommend the fast setup then

I think you would see more gains from spending that FAST money on a killer set of heads.

I also think having the better heads milled and running a smaller cam would net you more power than stuffing the t-rex in it and having to run stock compression.
