They aren't a waste if you are running an aftermarket PCM and are a prostock LS1 block. Keep your stockers. @ $80 a piece, you could almost do a complete cam swap.

Some cars are 6-700 hp with the stockers....MSD's look nice, but not necessary 'til then from what has been said in similar posts......
