High Flow Cats?
High Flow Cats? Are they worth it? I'm going to have Hooker LTs going down to two cutouts after each header, into cats and y pipe, into a GMMG exhaust. Would High flow cats give me any extra power or should i try to stick to stock cats? Does it do anything with making it louder or sound better?
And also will the cut outs pass emissions if they are capped on a visual test? Thanks!

Re: High Flow Cats? There has been alot of debate as to if your car will really benefit from high-flow cats as opposed to the stock ones. It certainly wont hurt to buy new high-flow ones and put them on your car. If you do plan on going with aftermark4et cats, I recommend Carsound cats. I purchased a pair of 94009 cats from a guy on ebay for $115 shipped.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the farther away from the engine the cats are, the cooler the exhaust gas will be, and therefore, the less effective the cats will be. Try to keep them as close to the end of the headers as possible. Check out these pictures for a good Custom Y-pipe setup:
