I have 99 Trans AM M6 and at part throttle not flooring it, the engine hesitates or bogs between 2,000 amd 3,000 RPM always. If you just floor it there is no hesitation between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM and the engine never misses and idles fine. It is all stock except for SLP air lid, SLP Y pipe and the SES light is not illuminated. Has anybody have ideas what is causing this ?

Mine does the same thing I'm gonna guess its the spark plugs need changing. I'm gonna get mine changed within the next month. Have you changed yours yet. How many miles do you have on your car. Welcome to the site the people on here are as helpful as they come we will get a better answer soon. By the way I have 65000 miles and stock plugs.

Mine hase been doing the same thing since the weather has cooled down. It dose it at normal driving, but just while its cold and at much lower RPMs. It hesitates right after shifting, but goes away after it warms up. This probably has nothing to do with your problem, but I just want to help any way I can or can`t. It`s a 02 Z and this is my first winter with it. It`s probably normal.

Mines has 42,000 miles on the stock plugs. I was planning on changing them and probaly will do it this week-end. I doubt if it will fix the hesitation but who knows. I was thinking it might be the MAF(stock) but have no way of checking it personaly.

my experience with engines is when the spark plugs or wires or problem the engine will have a mis not hesitation. I have reset the PCM pulling the ingnition fuse but the problem still persists. I was wondering if a factory reprogram of the PCM was in order to correct some defect.
http://calid.gm.com/vci/. Maybe the PCM is the problem and needs to be reprogramed for some defect. I can just unplug the MAF and see if the car starts or runs to see if this is a problem. Thanks for the input at least I know this problem is not unique.

I'm not sure that reset the PCM. Try this...
Turn key on but don't start the engine.
Pull both the PCM Batt and PCM IGN fuses.
Wait a few minutes.
Turn key off.
Reinstall fuses.

Strange, I swapped my stock MAF for a GMS yesterday and the hesitation that was there when shifting to 2nd at part throttle seems to be gone.
Try resetting your PCM or try another MAF.
