Is the loudmouth the best?

So I would imagine its going to be extremely loud since I have FLP long tube headers and high flow cats! But what my original question was, is the Loudmouth the best as far as performance, hp, tq, 1/4 mile time, 60' time, etc. I know sound is a personal opinion, but peformance is not.

I don't think anyone has ever done back to back dyno/track runs with two different cat backs. General consensus is that they all give about the same gain (which is almost nothing). Go with what you think is the best sounding, quality, price, whichever is more important to you. BTW, my nextdoor neighbor has a LM on a stock system, and I don't think it's as loud as my car was when I had the factory manifolds and my Borla wide open. Now with my LT's and orp I can wake the dead, or make it quiet when I want with my electric Borla plate. Just push a button

IMO the LM is going to do everything that you want. As 11 Bravo mentioned, most high quality catbacks will provide similar gains, but beyond that the LM has the benefit of being lighter (no muffler) and cheaper than most (its also stainless steel). IMO, the only thing that could flow any better would be true duals. I like the sound, but that's subjective. Also, I didn't notice much of a volume increase after adding Grotts and RT cats to the car - in case that's a concern.

I don't think the cat-back does enough performance wise to worry about... if you like the looks of the tips, or you like the sound go for it...
Hell... you could just do a stock cat-back w/a cutout and it would flow better (I know alot of people doing this running decent numbers) ... add an electric opener and you'll sound stock when you want but have the extra power when you need it

Do you ever go to Barnes N Noble by Baybrook Mall. Im from Alvin, south of Houston. Anyways, are you just saying that, or do you like the loudmouth at all? What kind of exhaust do you have?

I'm up there just about every friday. And I have Loudmouth with a Borla XR-1 in place of the Loudmouth's resonator. Its still very loud, but at low rpm's it's not too bad.
I had Borla just like you and hated the rasp and drone from under my ***. Big difference in sound, can't say if it flows better, but the custom 3" y-pipe helped a bit.
If you go out to B&N just look for me, loud & stock looking pewter SS.
