Default Paging NICK FILPPIDES (Kooks LT)

About two weeks ago I posted a thread trying to findout some information about the Kook headers and no one seemed to know very much. Finally, Kooks has responed. Would you please post some dyno numbers so that we can see how the Kooks standup against the others. I know that Kooks has had vast racing experience. But dyno numbers would be appreciated.

SSDude, Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. We're working on becoming sponsors but as it turns out we already have a sponsor on this board (T.E.A.)and it seems we'll have more really soon. We have dyno results from a 2002 Camaro that we installed our headers and Y-pipe onto. What we saw was an increase of 16hp and a 13ft.lb.boost of torque. What was even more impressive was that the Hp and Torque gains were throughout the entire dyno pull. The net results were 3ths.quicker and 3mph faster than ever before. Matt Fusco owns the car and he is a member of this board. Maybe he'll chime in and give you guys further details.
Thanx for inquiring. Nick (Kook's Headers)

Hey guys, my names Matt and I recieved the first set of Kook's headers and all I can say is they are great. The quality and fitement is perfect. They added some real nice power as well (16 peak rwhp and 13 peak rwtq, however some parts parts of the power band were improved by over 20 hp and tq). When I got the car redynoed after the header install, the dyno did not let the car cool down for more then 5-10 min or so, as opposed to the prior header dyno run where they gave the car almost an hour of cool down time, so that might have cost me a few ponies. Also, the car is untuned and is running pretty rich ( gonna A Tap it this weekend and then MAFT it) , so after some tunning, there might be even more power to be made If anyone is looking into getting some LT headers, I would highly recomend these. I wanna thank the Kook and Kook Jr. again for the great job they did. Oh yeah and they sound amazing as well.
