Very quiet at idle but sounds goot at WOT. Flows great, doesn't attract a love of attention. I love it.

I've heard them side by side.
The SLP D/D that I have is in 3 pieces. I-pipe, over the axle pipe, and the muffler and tailpipes (all welded, one piece) Is that the factory exhaust or the aftermarket one?? (not that it matters, I still love it)

Awesome thanks for all the insight guys. I did some research and apparantly the ones that came stock had a "cone of silence" welded in the pipes because they were not passing drive by tests I think it said 96ish+ SS's. THat was the 2otl. I looked at the ls1sounds page and it shows a picture of the thing cut out. Any one that bought one aftermarket have one of these?

http://ls1sounds.com/slp_dual-dual.htm

it's at the bottom of the page.
Thanks again!!

Nope, aftermarket versions will not have the cone of silence. That was only factory installed as a way to quiet things down.

I have 2 of them

Best exhaust made IMHO. Nice and quiet street driving and nice rumble when you get on it. Also the best sounding exhaust when you have LT headers and a off-road pipe.

Sounds perfect what do you have done to your car? You should put that on LS1 sounds. IT was exactly what I was looking for when I bought the exhaust. It's funny how the whole supply and demand thing works. No one wants them when they are selling them. Now they sell like ps3's

Thanks, its just a bolton car with F-13. I submitted it to ls1sounds and they never took it, it may not have made it up there.

I actually had to get rid of the muffler since that video, because it was rotted out and I had the packing hanging out my tips. The magnaflow muffler I used actually sounds identical in tone to it, just a few db louder.

Where can you buy a SLP dual/dual catback from? I could not find it on SLP's website.

As far as I know no one sells them anymore your best bet is to keep your ears and eyes open. Check the for sale section. Put up an add in the WTB section and check other forums as well. I got mine of a member on here.

The whole deal with the Dual/Dual is the muffler, which you can't buy. Keep an eye open in the for sale section. It's also known as the SLP Powerflow or Powerflo.

I bought mine from a guy who removed it from an 02 Firechicken
