Default Who has tried the sweet-thunder bullet on their true duals?

What is your opinion on it? I plan on a 3" x-pipe system and the swee- thunder mufflers have a maximum inner baffle of 2.5". Would this restrict too much flow?

Default Re: Who has tried the sweet-thunder bullet on their true duals?

IMO they are restrictive. Someone posted a pic of a 3" chambered interior a while back. You could really see how clogged it is. The 3" chambered has 2.5" internals, then it is further restricted by the fins protruding into the exhaust stream.
I can't speak to the sound from personal experience, but it has been done and the person posted that the sound is much quieter than they expected. That's not a bad thing, you might want that. The person that posted didn't like it though.
