Get a cutout first. If that doesn't satisfay your taste for sound and the ability to go back to a quiet exhaust, then Borla is what you want. I wouldn't spend the $$ on it personaly until I tried a $30 cutout first, though.

just to let you guys know, we recently dynoed a 02 TA and only gained 7 hp with a cut out. I really don't think you will really feel that.

Think I'll feel a difference? I know the stock WS6 exhaust flows pretty damn good already. I just needed a better sound, and the plates sold me.

the WS6 exhaust sounds badass IMO. My sister has it and its an awesome sounding exhaust. However the Borla is awesome with the plates, you'll probly feel a diff if you remove the plates and run it wide open. It'll also have alittle more of an "in ur face" kinda sound.

Is there anyone out there that has done comparison tests with catbacks to see which ones give the most power? I'm looking for dyno #'s no track times.

My cutout was worth exactly 10 RWHP and 7 RWTQ on my 99 WS6. We put another one in a freinds 01 WS6 and got the exact same results, 10 RWHP and 7 RWTQ. I dunno, I think for the money that is probably the cheapest HP your going to find on an LS1.

A cut out just makes your car sound loud it doesnt reall make it sound good. So first get a catback system then put a cut out on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
