mac headers

I'm looking at mac mide length headers with the y-pipe and mac cats has any body used this set up on a ls1.thanks for any help........ed f

lots of people have that setup, altho i'd highly recomend not using the MAC cats because they flow worse than the stock cats. It'll give you good gains if you get some good cats in there.

thanks for the input,did you like the sound better after you installed the headers.Also I was stationed at ft gordon in 85-86 there was a place were everybody cruised over by a mall.I think it was called peach grove.there was a speed shop across the street.It was a lot of fun.thanks for the help.

I like my MAC's alot. Ported them cut the ball flanges off and had a custom 3" flowmaster x-pipe setup. Loud,Loud,Loud!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> No cats and used 1 chamber shortys on the flowmaster. Oh my god what a difference. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
