SLP Headers and LM Dyno question, Please Help

Default SLP Headers and LM Dyno question, Please Help

I have an '01 WS-6 (M6) with the following mods: SLP lid, SLP smooth bellows, SLP 85mm MAF, SLP 160 T-stat, manual fan switches, and loudmouth exhaust. I have ordered the SLP LT headers w/ Y-pipe and high flow cats. I have three questions, first what kind of Power gains should I see and is there anyone with a similar setup that has had it on the dyno? Second, my car has not been tuned at all, the computer remains stock, is there anything I should have done to maximize my gains? And third, I love the way my LM sounds but does anybody have a loudmouth with headers and how much louder is it? Also any other comments that would be helpful......

hotcam+lid+catback I had 330/330
added the SLP lt kit ( headers,cats,y-pipe)
351/364

the sound is great!.. ( mac catback ).

slp headers are very high quality and fit great.

On an '01 car you can expect about 10-15 HP from the LTs. The Manifolds are actually pretty good for an internally stock car. You will most definately want to get a MAFT because in all likelyhood you will go rich after header install. You may even want to look into Predator or LS-1 edit so that you can look at your timing (It looks like GM pulled some timing out of the '01-'02s to slow them down a lil). My guess on Power would be 335-345 without a tune, 345-355 with a tune. It seems like the '01s and '02s have more variations in power than the pre-'01 cars. Hope this helps.

Dang, I have a complete SLP set-up for sale with less than 400 miles on it.

I think it is Mass Air Flow Translator. You can tell the Maf how to react. Not quite sure how it works though. Good luck
