I don't think that water will be an issue, if they get wet there, then they were getting wet on the V/C's, so i wouldn't worry about water, beside's these coils are sealed, which is why the coil wire cover the connection fully, and the harness connections are water proof sealtite connectors. The water that runs down to the cowl, is routed to the side of the car anyways, they would get wet if you sprayed them only.

Think some 3/8" fuel line will slide over the rod easily enough?? <img border="0" alt="[Driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

OK. I have been all over MSD,Summit,JEGs, Autozone, etc. sites and I can't find a cut-to-fit set of plug wires with the LT1/LS1 coil boots.
Did you guys just buy 20 ft. of bulk wire and then buy the coil boots and straight boots?
HELP! <img border="0" alt="[kaboom]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" />

Just bought a universal v-8 MSD set with straight plug boots. Then used coil clips from a set of stock wires. You will have to reuse your coil boots or try 90* boots. I actually had two sets of wires. One set had the straight plug boots and the other set had the straight coil boots. The LT1 kits have 90* plug boots.

OK. Universal 8.5mm MSD wires for a V-8 with straight plug boots. Do the stock coil boots come off the stock wires prety easily? I think I will need to invest in some proper terminal crimpers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
Many thanks. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
