cat-back install time?? just wondering how long its going to take me to install a slp y-pipe and loudmouth. have a nice christmas vacation so i plan on doing it then.

Re: cat-back install time?? Doesn't take that long at all. The hardest part is getting that damn band strap on the I pipe <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Good luck.
P.S. - Kinda hard getting the old pipe off without a lift cause of the rear end.

Re: cat-back install time?? thats funny, i work in hicksville OH, not to far from lima. i plan on putting the azz up in the air with jackstands, thats about it. i have all the time in the world to do it, i enjoy a challenge.

Re: cat-back install time?? Yeah, that's only about 30 miles. I put mine on a set on Rhino Ramps. I was too low to get it off in one piece. I had to cut it at the rear end to get it off. Not that big of a deal. But that damn band clamp pissed me off. lol

Re: cat-back install time?? Takes no more than an hour to install the y pipe and loudmouth. That is if you dont care about the stock exhuast. Power saws work nice. And i did all that without putting the car up. So you should have no problems. A problem you might encounter is the pipes are rusted together. Just WD40 that and have a hammer around.

Re: cat-back install time?? It varies witht the time. I had a lift and an electric saw to cut off the old exhaust...so to install my LM, it took me mabe 25 mins <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> .
