you will need two new belts, a shorter a/c belt and a shorter main belt. most of the times the pulley comes with a new bolt.

the main serpentine belt is the one for a mid 90s chevy truck or a chevy astro van... i figured this out when i went and got a new belt from the dealer and when i saw it was too long i looked at the crank pulley and realized i had an ASP pulley lol

I would just order the pulley and a new belts from the sponsers. The new a/c belt *looks* to be the same length as the old one, but I'm not making promises. The main belt part of the pulley is smaller on an UD pulley, but the a/c belt section looks unchanged.

The a/c belt won't use any power as long as the a/c isn't turned on. Even when you go WOT, the a/c automatically turns off, but don't rely on this, it's always better to turn it off. The compressor has a clutch, so it spins freely.

Slightly off topic, but personally I think you would be better off spending the money on some LT headers and a new mid pipe. Along with a different intake manifold such as a LS6 and port your own TB. If you're an automatic then a stall ~3500rpm would be well worth it. Any of these should make a bigger difference than pulley's.

Also if you ever plan on a supercharger the pulley's will be redundant and will have to be removed.

I also would put the cash in other places, you will never regret an exhaust. Also if your pulling your crank pulley, depending on your mileage, go ahead and get a new crank seal, your there, pretty cheap insurance against a leak later on.
