O2 sims question? How do they install?

O2 sims question? How do they install? I just got the QTP headers with OR/Y. How do the O2 sims install? I have one 24 inch extension with the install kit and two O2 sims. Is only one extension needed? do they just plug into the stock O2 plugs?

Re: O2 sims question? How do they install? They plug right into the wiring harness for the stock rear O2s. You shouldn't really need an extension for them as there is no need to locate the sims any farther away from the harness than the provided wire lenght will do anyway. You the extensions you bought for the front O2 sensors if you need them with the LTs...

a.) use a 21mm wrench to undo the rear o2 sensors from the y-pipe. you'll want to save these for possible future use.
b.) disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness and in the 4 slot end plug in your o2 sim.
c.) once attached zip tie up underneath the car avoiding places of high heat (transmissions, exhaust piping. secure them to other wire looms or misc metal fittings. also avoid your moving parts such as torque arm and driveshaft.
d.) the 24" o2 sensor extension you received is for the driver side front o2 sensor. i would recommend wrapping this up and around the motor mount/ k-member to avoid melting the looming onto the surface of the headers. the passenger side is long enough to reach from the wiring harness to the o2 bung.
if you are really paranoid about the sims taking on any amount of rain (doesnt hurt in any way), shrink wrap some saran wrap around the wire ends.
