Default Cutout result!!!

I recently put a 3 inch cutout in the I pipe followed by an 80 series flowmaster I already had......the damn cutout is freaking loud...deep loud and the thing makes the inside of the car vibrate at low rpm's....which gets kind of annoying!!!but how could I stop it from vibrating?.....Also it drones alot whenever
i let off the gas..........it sounds really mean though but I guess I have to get used to it...

You'll get use to it. I've had mine for a little over a year, and it's never been capped.

Put a lady in the passenger seat she will love the vibration. I only capped mine while it was in the paint shop other than that I don't cap mine. You will get use to it just like everyone else said.

I love mine. I also have an QTP Electric cutout. I can open and close it whenever I want to. Also you can just crack it open and tune the sound you want. Here is a video of mine.

IMO, a QTEC electric cuttout by QTP is an absolute MUST HAVE for anyone who has a cuttout. It's probably the best $125 I've ever spent on my car.

Well I don't have an electric opener but I absolutely LOVE my cutout.

I'd suggest a cutout for ANYONE who doesn't have the money to buy a catback system at the time ...
I think the best part is letting off and hearing it crackle.

I would like a electric opener though -- I live in apartments and it would be nice to be able to cap it while driving through the parking lot.

The idea of the electric cut-out sure seem like the way to go ... if you're using a cut-out.

Best of both worlds....without crawling under the car !

I track tested my QTP on back to back runs. I got .09 ET reduction and 1 mph.

I can not see how the electric cutout would not leak. The manual plate fits over the hole, the electric pivots open within the hole.
Mikey and I did a back-to-back dyno test Friday. Can anybody guess the results between my MagnaFlow catback (thanks RapidMotorSports)and my wide open Cutout.
.3 hp, (thats 3/10 ths of 1 hp)
I knew the MagnaFlow was good, I didn't know how good.

Right, it overlaps. One look at it and you'll understand why it doesn't leak.

thanx for the input guys....I realize now that I should have gone with the electric cutout since I would like to be able to adjust the sound levels which is not an option with the regular cutout! I have gotten used to the vibration and deep sound which believe it or not scares alot of ricers and makes other Z's and stangs think twice about running... But all is good though and I'll probably get an Electric cutout soon.....Btw...the vibration makes the other exhaust stuff rattle a bit...esp the cats,or heatshields.....is that normal?? ..how would I get rid of that???....
