Solved My "Header Banging" Problem! My original thread...

I couldn't believe this when I saw it. I started looking around the transmission mount last night and after about 4 cranks on the floor jack I was getting the "popping" noise that I've been trying to track down. I checked the mount and it was fine (I was baffled at this point). I kept letting the transmission down and jacking it back up with hopes of figuring out where the sound is coming from. Finally, I look up on top of the tranny and see this:

That's my o2 simm stuck vertically between the tranny and the undercarriage!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Everytime the tranny moved around it was causing it to dig in and making a popping noise. Amazing how you can chase something so random and stupid for days!
