egr removal

who carries the block off plates?? Is this a prectical thing?? I am getting an ls6 manifold and it does not have egr, so should i remove it?

If you install an intake that doesn't have a bung for the EGR then you can say it's removed since you can't connect it to anything anyway. The EGR valve might be mounted to the block, but the intake side is open. You can't run like that. You'll need to install the block off plate. Either make your own or buy them. You going to set an EGR DCT unless you delete the EGR monitor. You might as well remove the EGR valve since it won't be functioal anyway.

Delete the EGR codes that you are throwing. Dont ask me which ones, I had someone do mine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
