while i was removing...... while i was removing my egr stuff from my manifolds i came to a hose that T-boned it on the driver side.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> this particular hose runs along the driver side quarter panel and down under the fuse box... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> i ordered the egr block off plates, and one AIR plate..now what is this hose that T-bones the EGR system from manifold to manifold???? is that that AIR system? The third blok off plate is for the AIR system, but i have no idea where it would go if that T-boned piece is the AIR system?

Re: while i was removing...... That's the AIR system. The EGR is what runs from your passenger side manifold up to the intake. I'm working on putting all of my equipment back on the car for emissions testing.

and the EGR is the 7-8in hose that we do the EGR free mod from?? well i only have 3 blok off plates....what should i do?

Re: while i was removing...... Yeah, that hose comes up from the AIR pump behind the headlight then splits into the 2 hoses that connect to the exhaust manifolds. Two of the block-off plates bolt to those fittings. The larger one will bolt to your exhaust manifold where the EGR tube goes. If you still have the stock intake manifold, you'll need to block the hole where the EGR tube connect to it. I used a 1-3/8" expandable rubber plug. To do the free EGR mod, you would've cut off the part of the tube that actually protrudes down into the intake tract.
