Dual Exhaust Price I am currently debating to get a dual set-up or a cat-back system. I'm not interested in just a set of bullits. This car is my daily driver and an Auto. To much noise with that set-up. Has anyone put 2 mufflers with an x or h pipe and run tail pipes out the back. If so, did you have this custom made or buy a kit somewhere.Because this cars my daily driver I have to also be aware of ground clearance. Car is not lowered or will it ever be. How much gains do you think i would see over a cat-back system. There would be no cats in the dual set-up. Any help to this question would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Dual Exhaust Price An insight for ya, I have TD's, manifolds, cats (for now), an X pipe, w/ bullets, 2 1/2" pipes going all the way out to mild 3" tips. Looks nice, ground clearance is amazing, tucked up in there like a drag queen's package, and sounds real mellow. Actually quiter than A LOT of catbacks and best thing is it cost the same, on average. Here in Hawaii it ran me $630, now you can swap mufflers, just get some with small casings, flowmaster single chambers or the new Borla XS series. My car is a daily driver. Oh yeah, I had a cutout in my factory pipes, I went .2 quicker and p/u 2mph. With the TD's I am quiter than a cutout and gained ever so slightly still retaining the cats, average looks to be .07 over cutout and another 1mph. Good-luck.

Re: Dual Exhaust Price Thanks for the replys so far guys. CAT3: Your is a custom made set-up by the sounds of it. Is your mandrel bent piping or mnormal bent? Is that 630 with the cat or did you take your current ones and ou them in your new set-up? When you say not to loud, exactlt what do you mean. Is it loud mouth loud or more like borla or corsa. Thanks for your help.
