Baker hose install w/pics.
First if want a Baker hose call Baker at 1-800-959-7757, the person I talk to is Darlene.
The hose is about one inch too long, with just some minor trimming the hose will fit perfectly, the thing is you don't want to trim too much off or it will be too short. If you look at the link below you'll get a good idea of what's involved in trimming the hose.
The first picture shows the stock bellow next to the Baker hose, you can see the stock bellow curves up to meet the MAF end. The second picture is of the TB end of the hose, I cut about a 1/2" off the hose. The third picture gives you an idea of about what angle you need to trim ( the top part of the masking tape ) the Baker hose at the MAF end, I would start there and once you have it trimmed correctly do the TB end. The final picture shows the Baker hose connected to the MAF, the hose will slide up higher on the MAF but for picture purposes I left it like this.
Once you have the MAF end trimmed install it one the MAF ( with lid ), you will probably still need to trim the TB end but install it and see about how much it needs to be trimmed on the TB end, like I said before I trimmed about a 1/2" off the TB end.
Anyone who has installed a Baker hose and wants to add something or correct something I've said please do so.
Al
P.S These pics were taken before the installing Clampco clamps.

Is there a part number to ask for,
and can you get it in black?

You just need to ask for the Camaro hose, I know you can get the hose in red, blue, yellow and I think they have black also. Give them a call, it's free ( the phone call is not the hose ).
BTW, there in Cali so there's a time difference when calling.
for suction-side use, does it resist
caving in? Figure a few inches of H2O
vacuum between TB and MAF at WOT. I
saw somebody beefing about a collapsing
hose a while back. A soft reinforced
hose will take pressure but might cave,
especially if it's a long run?

If you want e-mail me your phone number, I might be able to explain any questions you have better that way.
